Jonathan was a happy, energetic 9 year old. He enjoyed school, loved soccer and had many friends. He had his father's drive and his mother's people skills.
We knew he was going to make his mark one day; we had no idea it would be so soon.
This site is designed to raise awareness for Long QT Syndrome, the ailment that claimed Jonathan far
too soon, and other types of sudden cardiac arrests. Sudden cardiac death happens when a heart attack
or abnormal heart rhythm stops the heart from beating properly. It is responsible for up to 10% of all
deaths in the United States. That equates to a sudden death every two minutes or approximately 350,000 to
500,000 deaths a year. The survival rates can be improved drastically with early defibrillation.
Please join us as we fight for CPR training, implementing automatic external defibrillation (AED) programs, and promoting public awareness
of these important heart health issues.
